My Experience

I’ve been a music educator for 30+ years. My experience includes:
- Writing, recording and touring with bands (most notably with Camper Van Beethoven, Monks of Doom, Small Birds of Sound, and as a solo children’s music artist)
- Conducting and singing in choirs
- Providing common core aligned instruction in public schools (grades K-8)
- Providing Orff Schulwerk early childhood music / movement education (ages 0-5)
- Lecturing at the college level in composition, orchestration, and music theory
- Creating sound art and sound design for large scale theater productions
- Engineering, producing, mixing and mastering recorded music using LogicPro
